Brake drum is the friction coupling of drum brake, in addition to the strength and stiffness required as a component, but also should be as high and stable friction coefficient as possible, as well as the appropriate wear resistance, heat resistance, heat dissipation and heat capacity.

The brake is a part of the braking system used to produce braking force that prevents the vehicle from moving or moving tendency.
